In 2022, the artists Jason Galbut and Anna Vickers published the second edition of their interview about Vickers’ 2017 exhibition Sorry I’m A Lady, which took place at the Pavillon Davioud in Paris’s Jardin du Luxembourg. It includes installation shots and images of individual works from this exhibition, as well as from her 2020 exhibition The Discarded Body which was presented at the Galbut Institute in collaboration with Tile Blush Gallery. Drawing on works in Sorry I’m A Lady, Galbut and Vickers examine how Vickers’ work engages with the art-historical female-nude subject and its critique, and considers its relationship to the current state of contemporary art.
